Falls Sie in den Vereinigte Staaten leben, schicken Sie einen ordentlich gestempelten und an sich selbst adressierten Umschlag (Mindestgröße 11x22cm) mit Ihrem Brief und ein Foto. Sie können noch ein Stück Karton hineintun, damit das Foto nicht geknickt wird beim Verschicken und auch auf den Umschlag schreiben "Nicht Knicken". Falls Sie nicht in den Vereinigte Staaten leben, legen Sie noch einige Internationale Antwortscheine dazu. Die IAS (englisch: International Reply Coupon) werden vom empfänger dazu verwendet, die briefmarken zu kaufen. Sie können sie nur bei Ihrer Poststelle erhalten. Schicken Sie Ihren Brief und warten. Im Durchschnitt vergehen 3 Monate und mehr Wartezeit auf eine Antwort.

27. Dezember 2006 - I sent a letter to Willie Nelson on 11/13/06 and received a photo of him on 12/22/06. It's a nice 8 X 10 b & w photo but it was not autographed. I received a letter with the photo that said due to the number of requests that he receives on a daily basis he is unable to autograph them.

I checked Willie's web site contact information and it turns out this address' zip code is one number off though I c/p from his site's contact info when I wrote the original letter. Since the PO didn't cancel my stamp or stamp up my outer envelope outside of the amazingly easy to peel off RTS sticker, I plan to rewrite the address w/ the correct zip code and re-mail as is.
Best explanation I can think of is that they were reassigned a new zip code and thus another local PO so all the other PO would see is a closed box on their record.
