12. April 2006 - Well I am quite disappointed this afternoon. After seeing people post successes to the 2006 HOF inductee former St. Louis Cardinal pitcher, I purchased a plaque of him jumping into Darrell Porter's arms after throwing the final strike in Game 7 of the 1982 World Series. I sent this photo to him in hopes of having it signed and today I received it back with a handwritten "RETURN TO SENDER" in large font red sharpie. I have no idea on how to get him to sign this thing now and I paid quite a bit of money for it too, but I guess that's shame on me. The address listed on this site was current just as of February 2006 but for some reason, this one got turned away! April 2006 - Sent March 20, 2006: letter, index card and SASE Bruce Sutter c/o National Baseball Hall Of Fame 25 Main Street Cooperstown, NY 13326 Rcvd 4/3: my envelope, RTS What's odd is that the HOF put an address label on my envelope (over the HOF address). Then, I assume the Post Office put a yellow RTS sticker over that. I can't read the address label the HOF put on. Mehr >>
