Alan Rickman failure - 31. December 2011
I sent a DVD Cover, letter and Recorded Delivery SAE to Alan on: 21st July 2011, and today I recieved my DVD Cover back unsigned, with a note saying he is out of the country for the forseeable future, i will send it to the USA instead.

I must say, I was a bit surprised when I received the mail - I thought it had gotten lost since I live all the way in Australia. I knew it was going to be a failure since Alan Rickman is in New York but I did send a letter to him in New York a month or so ago but I am not sure if that will work.
It was good to hear feedback though.

I sent Alan a LOR, a SASE and a 8X10 and I received a letter from his management company saying he is in the US and they cannot forward items to be signed. But they did forward my letter to him. Is there a chance he may send his own picture to me from here in the US? I hope so. This brings my success rate to the UK well under 25%. I think I have enough UK stamps for one more request to the UK and then Im giving up. Cant afford to just throw my money away. Any suggestions?
