Cynthia Ann Stephanie "Cyndi" Lauper (born June 22, 1953) is an American singer, songwriter, actress and LGBT activist. Her career has spanned over 30 years. Her debut solo album She's So Unusual (1983) was the first debut female album to chart four top-five hits on the Billboard Hot 100â"Girls Just Want to Have Fun", "Time After Time", "She Bop", and "All Through the Night" earned Lauper the Best New Artist award at the 27th Grammy Awards in 1985. Her success continued with the soundtrack for the motion picture The Goonies and her second record True Colors (1986). This album included the number one hit of the same name and "Change of Heart" which peaked at number 3.
Sent her 2 5X7 photos on 1 Oct and got them back signed on 6 Feb.. she also sent 2 8X10 autographed B/W photos and supplied the larger envelope that was required.. On one of those she wrote "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" XX and signed it.. How fun is THAT??
The return address on her envelope also had (212) 877-9631 and sowhatasst at me.com

I sent a LOR, SASE, and 8x10 to Cyndi Lauper (So What Arts Management and Media, Inc. 890 West End Ave, Suite 1A New York, NY 10025-3520) on 9/24/15. On 12/4/15, I received the pic back signed in my own envelope.
