He appeared in a number of feature films including Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Wyatt Earp, 48 Hrs, Streets of Fire, and Flesh+Blood, as well as various TV series such as Matlock, Walker, Texas Ranger, In Plain Sight and The Golden Girls.
