John Waters is an underground film director known for Pink Flamingos, Hairspray and Serial Mom. I sent him a letter and some pictures in January (around the 30th) and on 3/28/17 I received my pictures back signed and personalized!

John Waters is a notorious underground filmmaker who created such banned trash comedies as Pink Flamingos, Female Trouble, Desperate Living, before achieving mainstream success with Hairspray, Serial Mom, Cry Baby etc.
He's not made a film for over a decade due to funding difficulties but he's written a few books over the years.
I've been a huge fan of his work for the past 20 years (especially his films that were banned in the 70s) and decided to write to him.
I sent 5 page A5 LOR, 1 A4 photo, SASE.

Sent letter 2 pictures and SASE on 4-1-15. Both returned signed 5-15-15. This makes my 200th autograph IV gotten TTM since I joined Fainmail.biz last July. Love his films address used:

I havent sent away for an autograph in a good number of years, but I couldnt resist sending to my favourite cult filmmaker John Waters when I found some spare stamps.
