November 2020 I sent a letter with 2 pictures 13x18 cm and a stamped return envelope to Katarina Witt on September 6, 2019 and got a picture + 1 autograph card signed back on November 14, 2020! On a second card she apologized for the long wait and wrote some personal words!

Katarina Witt Success!! - 09. Mai 2014 Some time last year, I sent a letter of request and a SASE to German figure skater Katarina Witt. I was new at this, so I put US postage on the return envelope even though I mailed it to Germany. Anyway, I figured Id never hear back, but today I received an autographed and personalized 5x7 promo card from Ms. Witt mailed to me in my return envelope. My only guess is she (or her management) held pn to it until she came to the United States and mailed it to me once they got here (hence the one year wait). Regardless....very cool.

Katarina Witt personalized success! - 17. September 2013 I sent a letter, SAE and 2$ to Katarina on 2 April and on 5 September I received a signed photo. As my SAE was a bit bigger (I was not sure about a size of Katarinas photos), she used her own smaller envelope.
