Miriam Margolyes (Harry Potter) FAST SUCCESS! - 30. November 2011
Wow this is my 3rd Harry Potter success in the last 2 days (10th overall HP success)! About 2 weeks ago I sent a LOR, SAE, index card and 4x6 photo to Miriam, who played professor sprout in the Harry Potter movies and today I recieved a response back. I got a note back from her assistant on a compliment's slip of paper saying Miriam was out of the country so she couldn't sign the picture I sent, but sent me a pre signed photo instead.
I'm actually quite happy with this because it is the same picture I had sent her, only her photo was larger. It is a 6x9 photo i believe, which was much larger then the 4x6 i sent her  The signature itself got a little smeared, but it's not real bad and hardly even noticeable at a distance.
They provided the envelope, since the new picture wouldn't fit in the SAE i had sent. It was kind of weird though, there was no stamps or any indication postage had been paid for it, no post mark, and the usual "airmail" sticker the UK posts on it wasn't on the envelope either. The envelope had been opened too, because you can see it had been sealed and then torn open and taped shut. My thought is maybe her assistant didn't pay the postage and there was no return address, so the post office probably opened it to see what was inside, and then was kind enough to send it along for free? I'll never know though lol.

I got a reply on the 24th November, I got my photo back unsigned, and a note from her agent saying she was out of the country, and how shed sent a photo which Miriam had signed before. I loved her as Professor Sprout, and the photo she sent is lovely 
No idea if its authentic or not (I hope so!), maybe Ill try again in a few months when shes back

Sent a LOR, photo and a SAE on September 8
Received my photo signed in my SAE today on November 17... there were no stamps on my envelope :S :S
Used the address in the database. The signature doesnt look like the other ones Ive seen... any ideas on whether its authentic or not?

Got back, a other photo (but its fine with me as it is a Sprout photo) signed and personlised
