Robert Pine (of Chips) Success! - 08. August 2016
After three years and two failed attempts, I finally got a reply from former CHiPs star Robert Pine, best known as Sgt. Joseph Getraer in that show, but these days he is best known as being Chris Pine's father.
I purchased a photo from Pine's website  eight weeks ago and today I received it.
And even though the picture was mirrored
(as Getraer's badge is on the left and his name badge on the right), it was still a great success anyway. So, I wrote the word "Getraer" on it personally and blocked out any mirrored text using a sharpie pen, to create a more better image (as I actually don't allow mirrored photos in my collection.)
This marks the third success I got from a star on CHiPs. I already have Jon and Ponch themselves.
I am now attempting to get ones from Brianne Leary (who played Sindy Cahill), Randi Oakes (who played Bonnie Clark), Tina Gayle (who played Kathy in the final season) and Jayne Kennedy and Cindy Morgan (from the failed Chips spin off Mitchell and Woods.) |
