Billie Roy - Unbelievable Failure - 29. August 2026 I sent Billie Roy from Lee Cronin's The Mummy a letter, a picture to be signed, and a self-addressed stamped envelope with proper postage. I was simply hoping for a personalized autograph as a fan-not something to resell.
On August 2, 2026, Billie acknowledged on Instagram that she had received my letter. She wrote:
"Hi! We got your letter today. Thank you so much! She was so delighted to receive it. She'd be happy to sign the picture. We'll get it back to you real soon. 🥰"
I was genuinely happy to hear that. I appreciated her response and looked forward to receiving the signed photo.
Unfortunately, since then, there has been nothing.
I followed up and received no response. I also contacted her agent, Wendi Green of TalentWorks, and received no response there either.
I understand that actors are busy, and I don't expect every autograph request to be fulfilled immediately. But in this case, I was specifically told that the picture would be signed and returned "real soon." I supplied everything needed to make that happen, including the return postage.
What makes this especially disappointing is that this wasn't a demanding or complicated request. I was simply a fan who took the time and expense to send a letter and photo, and I was grateful when I was told it would be signed.
If circumstances changed or the request could no longer be fulfilled, I would have much rather received a simple message saying so. Silence after promising to return something is what I find most disappointing.
So, based on my personal experience, I would encourage other fans to think carefully before spending their time and money sending autograph requests to Billie Roy. I would also personally be very cautious about sending fan mail through TalentWorks without first understanding how these requests are handled.
I'm not posting this because I'm upset about not getting an autograph. I'm posting it because I believe fans deserve straightforward communication and basic courtesy-especially when they have already been told that their request will be fulfilled.
This was my experience. Others can make their own judgment. |
