Freddy Cannon Singer - 13. March 2018
Frederick Anthony Picariello Jr. (born December 4, 1936), known as Freddy Cannon, is an American rock and roll singer, whose biggest international hits included "Tallahassee Lassie", "Way Down Yonder in New Orleans", and "Palisades Park". His hits also included "Twistin' All Night Long", recorded with Danny and the Juniors and also featuring Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons on backing vocals. However, one of his biggest hits came in May 1962 with "Palisades Park", written by future TV Gong Show host Chuck Barris. Produced by Slay with overdubbed rollercoaster sound effects, it reached No. 3 on the Hot 100, No. 15 on the R&B chart, and No. 20 in the UK. This release also sold over one million copies, gaining gold disc status.
Sent him 2 photos on 22Feb and got both back signed on 13 Mar.

1950s & 60s Singer Freddy Cannon Success - 22. March 2016
Hi. I wrote to singer Freddy Cannon -probably best known for his hits "Palisades Park" & "Tallahassie Lassie"- to the new address supplied by the Admin (Thanks Admin!  ) after I got an RTS from the old DB one, and got a success!!
Sent LOR, SASE, & 2 photos, & received them back autographed! Only took 6 days.
Thanks again Admin for the new valid address.   |

Wrote to the one address in the database, and got it back RTS. The yellow sticker says "Not Deliverable As Addressed Unable To Forward".

Rcv'd May 14, 2011 in my SASE (SASE had 11 MAY Santa Clarita CA postmark) my signed and inscribed photo. Mr. Cannon also included a brief kind note. |
