Not exactly a success, but a response! I had read that Ms. Andrews had started declining autograph requests due to limited time, instead sending an "official photo" and a thank you on her behalf from her manager. However, I had seen on here that some folks had success sending her autobiography, so I thought I'd give it a try!
I bought her book, wrote a detailed, handwritten letter, and sent it off in a package with a SASE on August 12, 2015.
I recognized the package immediately when it showed up in the mail on March 14, 2016, and got excited hoping for a win. Unfortunately, I got the same letter and photo, as well. Still, it's a nice response, and at least I got my book back! I was starting to think it wasn't coming. I'll be glad to read it. And hey! If she ever writes another book, maybe she'll do a signing!

Julie Andrews - Failure - 30. Januar 2016
Almost a year ago, I sent Ms. Julie Andrews a photo of Mary Poppins to be autographed and today, to my disappointment, I received my photo back along with an UNSIGNED black and white photo of Ms. Andrews, and this letter stating that she no longer signs autographs for fans.

Julie Andrews (Purchased) Success/Question - 18. Juni 2015
The other day I was browsing Books A Million when I came across a first edition copy of Julie Andrews memoir 'Home' on the bargain shelf. Turns out it was signed!! It appears to be authentic to me, but since it didn't have any sticker or anything stating it was signed by her, I am wondering what you all think about it? Thanks!
