Julie Andrews - Failure - December 8th, 2012
I sent Ms. Andrews a fan letter with an 8x10 photo, self-addressed envelope and international reply coupon in mid-October. Today (December 8, 2012) I received my photo back along with a new 5x7 photo, my postage coupon and a brief letter apologizing for not sending an autograph.

Disappointing Julie Andrews Reply - November 12th, 2012
Evidently Julie Andrews is no longer authenticly signing through the mail. Bummer, but I am pleased the director of her fanmail took the time to explain what happened and still send a photo. She didnt have to do that, so at least there was some sort of explanation behind why I didnt receive a reply. She did include a note that said if I wanted the picture I sent back to send a SASE, but I cant decide if I want to waste the postage since it wont be signed. Thoughts?
Ive included a photo of the photo I received and the note that was included.

Julie Andrews Success!! - May 1st, 2012
On 11/22/11 I sent Ms. Andrews her book "Home", a SASE and a sincere letter and was hoping for her to sign it. I knew it might be hit or miss but thought i would try anyway. Months passed and heard nothing then recently i saw on a post that she was back to sending out rejection letters so i thought mine still had hope. And on 4/30/12 my book had arrived, signed and personalized. It was great to finally get it back.
